How Can I Know If It's Done Right?

Updated: May 19, 2021

A large part of the enjoyable experience we guarantee is the end result, meaning the completed beautiful project you’ve been envisioning. But unless you have experience with stone countertop fabrication and installation you’re not likely to know what quality work is or what to expect. Regardless of the stone type such as quartz, granite or porcelain for your countertops, or where it's being used like in your bathroom update or even your outdoor kitchen project -

Here are some examples of what quality work expectations are :

Stone integrity - If the stone is of good quality and fabricated properly it shouldn’t show cracking Overhang - This should be an even measurement across all edges of the counter

Square corners/Straight lines - Unless fabricated to follow specific unique curves within your stone project then corners should measure squarely (For example: 90 degrees, 45 degrees etc) and straight edges should likewise be straight & symmetrical

Level - The counter tops should be leveled so nothing rolls off when placed on top of it in the case of flat surfaces Edges - No matter the edge type it should not be jagged, chipped or catch on anything SEAMS When multiple pieces of stone are involved they should be flush with each other, the amount of seams should be minimized, the position of them strategically placed and each should be as close together as possible. When sealed the seam epoxy should match the stone that’s being installed.

SLAB PATTERNS If it has a specific pattern then that design should be fabricated to flow naturally especially as it involves the curves of the surface and seams where possible
